Is Invisalign faster than braces?

For many patients, yes! Because we can plan every single tooth movement digitally before you even start, we often see treatment times between 12 to 18 months—sometimes faster than traditional methods.

Do I have to wear them all day?

Yes. For the magic to work, you must wear your aligners for 20 to 22 hours per day. You should only take them out to eat, drink, brush, and floss.

Does it hurt?

You may feel some pressure for a day or two when you switch to a new set of trays. This is a good sign! It means the aligners are working to gently move your teeth. It is generally less painful than metal braces adjustments.

What if I lose a tray?

Don't panic! Call our office immediately. Depending on where you are in your cycle, we may have you move to the next tray or wear the previous one until a replacement arrives.

Is there an age limit?

No! We treat patients from age 7 (Invisalign First) to age 70+. As long as your teeth and gums are healthy, you are never too old to improve your smile.

Can I drink coffee with them in?

We recommend removing them for hot beverages (which can warp the plastic) and dark beverages (which can stain the aligner). Water is the only safe drink to have while wearing them.
