Orthodontic Problems to Watch For in Your Child

By Dr. Brian Thomas • July 22, 2019

Parents often ask us what to look for. Here are the top signs your child needs an exam:

  • Early or late loss of baby teeth.
  • Difficulty chewing or biting.
  • Mouth breathing.
  • Thumb or finger sucking.
  • Crowded, misplaced, or blocked-out teeth.
  • Jaws that shift, make sounds, protrude or are recessed.

If you see any of these, schedule a complimentary consultation (age 7 is ideal!).
